CLIA processes enable libraries to strengthen their role as anchor institutions by working WITH, not just FOR communities, and support communities in acting collectively rather than in isolation. CLIA are mindful practices to facilitate participatory dialogue and community action, contributing towards advancing peace, justice, inclusion and equity.
